Yes
He did have a store set up during the Xenophobia celebration. T-Shirts, Posters, some CD's....neat stuff. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

When the NPG store was open in Minneapolis, you would have thought that they would have had all the shit and then some. They barely even had what you could walk in a normal record store and buy. They had very few rare things. TRUE BLUE

He used to sell CDs at Paisley Park.

Prince should have an online music store where he sells memorabilia and CDs. First thought, he should remaster his music. Prince should just have his own official website. Instead of all this Love4OneAnother and Lotusflow3r shit, it should just be www.prince.com.

Not too sure about a wrecka stow, but he should definitley re-open the studio for other bands to record in! It seems a bit of waste having 2 big studios that I doubt are occupied often anymore...

It is open for other bands to record in....if they want to pay the price, which is not cheap.

That doesn't make a lot of sense, does it? Hell, back in the day it wasn't even limited to music...didn't one of those Grumpy Old Men movies shoot there? God if not, I'd like to know how I put that together?! "Hope is the feeling we have that the feeling we have is not permanent."-Mignon McLaughlin

Record stores are not very profitable anymore, so yeah, I wouldn't be suprised if he did it. I'm just saying...

Yes. Roseanne Barr was also interested in filimg the Roseanne show there when her and Tom were living in Iowa, but it didn't work out. I believe Kool and the Gang rehearsed for a tour there. There were also commercials that were filmed there, along with countless other artists using the studios. TRUE BLUE

Would be a great idea! HE would do well, since he has all the juicy, rare stuff! And imagine if he opened up the vault and just had it where people could pay to come listen to the stuff...Damn, he could make a killing! I'd be up there everyday! Maybe he will consider it... Prince is GORGEOUS. I'm inspired. GOD is GREAT. Is there anything else to say? lol

The Beastie Boys rehearsed their "Check Your Head ' Tour ,there back in '92. In the soundstage the walls dont just go straight to the cement floor, they are kinda sloped at the bottom, so there is no seam where the wall and floor meet, they just flow together. This is done for 'Greenscreen" purposes. Anyways, the Beastie Boys used the walls as mini skateboard ramps and ended up putting big holes in the walls. That was when Prince closed it down to 'outsiders'. He kept it closed until '99, but since it 'reopened' not much has been done there by outside artists and truthfully Paisley isn't really doing much to attract anybodies business. In the last couple years, Jason Mraz and John Legend, have been the only artists to do tour rehearsals there.
