Princes 'chest voice'

Just out of curiosity how high does princes chest voice (normal voice) go? We all know he can nail the falsetto and scream. Thanks.

I got two sides... and they're both friends.

I've never run scales with him. confuse

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Prince's highest comfortable chest-voice note seems to be a G. You can find a couple of those on pretty much every album, and he does them quite frequently in concerts too.

Then there's a few rare occasions where he reaches an A flat, for example:

"Still Would Stand All Time" (so much you will show...)

"Feel Better, Feel Good, Feel Wonderful" (we'll keep feedin' U, but first thing's first)

Or even an A:

"It" (I think about it baby all the time...and all similar lines)

"The Love We Make" (for in this new world...)

These are just off the top of my head, I'm sure there are more as well.

One typical thing about Prince, though, is that he rarely holds long notes with his chest voice. All of these examples are very short.
