Sweet Jebus. It's 2010. Not only can you buy this as a tracked CD, you can actually rip the CD to your HD, open up the .wav in CD Wave, set the necessary cue points, split the way, and burn the resulting .wavs as a new audio CD.

Matter of fact, that's what people were doing 10 years ago with the NPGMC Ahdio tracks -- I was one of those who posted .cue files (which can be used to split a .wav).

i've listened to all of his cd's more than 10 times.

indigo nights (not yet 10 times....really disappointed with this live cd after hearing a few bootlegs of the tour, but its not all bad)

none of Prince's albums are 'bad', most have at least 1 or 2 gems.... I don't expect Prince to get me hooked every time (in fact I am kind of glad he doesn't - otherwise all the cds would sound the same), for an artist to be so unbelievable live, its weird that neither One Night Alone Live nor Indigo Nights have captured it....and it is possible....the NPG Trio from the Indigo Club in 2007 is stunning!!! Maybe one day he'll capture it on CD/DVD and give it to us officially...

the only song that has really left a bad taste for me was Purple and Gold....thank god (or jehovah) that didn't get on any official cd!! hell, even jughead sounds ok to that song!!

but each to their own, what I don't like obviously other people will dig...s'all good....

my only wish is that Prince doesn't take the 'safe' route...and so far, he hasn't, no matter what people think, he walks his own path and I'll support him on that....

The "safe route" that most people suggest is him using an outside producer. I can't see that ever happening, at least not on any major scale to make a difference.

You should. I agree, the last disc is bad (crappy choice of songs, except for Joy in Repetition and Dorothy Parker) but the other two are completely different.

Ironic that ONA live is one of the worst Prince live concerts I've heard. (not counting the sound quality)

wow some of the answers just show u that everybody has a mind of their own. It just cracks me up that some of the albums mentioned I love. I guess mine would be this new one 2010 cause I just got it. the vault. and News. There is always one song that I can listen to more than 10 times tho. Peace

The only Prince album I haven't listened to 10 times would probably be Indigo Nights.
