Can somebody please list all the songs where HE played the organ,,,or did solos?

I must've watched Hot Thing(from SOTT) a million times because of its intro, I'm just hopelessly addicted to this instrument. I said it in another thread and I'll say it here again, I don't mind a WHOLE album with nothing but a B3 Hammond accompanying his voice.

Moviestar has great unique dreamy organ... the '86 version of We Can Funk has deep dark organ... 2 Nigs United for West Compton has crazy organ...

Live he was playing organ on the Parade tour quite a bit.

Yeah, I know he was infatuated with the instrument back in the 86-87 period, so far I could only think of the few portions in "Shockadelica" and the re-recorded version of "Witness 4 The Persecution".

He played the organ on "Strange Relationship" on the 4 those of U on Valium boot, but I don't know if he played it on the SOTT album. Anybody know if he played the organ live when he went on tour in Europe?

"rock, rock, holly rock" where does he go?.straight to the organ

on the stockholm bootleg when he does "17 days/I Wanna Be Your Lover medley there's a bit of organ playing he does there too.

Does he play the organ in "Baby You're a Trip" and "Dark"?

Oh man, i LOVE that organ intro on the SOTT movie. His playing here reminds me of Amsterdam for some reason. I made a thread ages ago praising it and i pretty much called called out by folk saying "Prince cant play organ.. check out blah blah blah for real organ playing"

That scene could be in my top five Prince musical moments. He is just jamming. I love that bit where he does that 'question and response' style of playing.. y'know.. he plays a musical question 'dah dahm' then answers it 'bah bahm' <--- that probably makes no sense to anybody living outside of my head

Don't you just love that head turn he does with pursed lips and a knowing look in his eye as he holds that chord at the end? He looks soooooo cool. Then he just runs his hands down the keys as he walks over to Cat.

Now i need to watch this again!

Oh god yes! There's a dark vibe about that intro. I loved that about it.

And yeah, I'm not harboring any illusions about him being the next Jimmy Smith or Jimmy McGriff,,,,not even on his best day I can def tell that he's a flawed organist, but his style of playing is his own. Its goes right along with most of his counter melodic playing. I know he can master the instrument(if he didn't already, from that point).

Its one of those things in orgville, nothing that a pinch of salt wouldn't cure

As much as I've seen the damn thing, I don't think I ever recognized that either(and I've listened to Fulfillingness first finale for god knows how many ).

I marvel at the fact that he could easily segue songs from other artists in the middle of his repertoire and not make it sound out of place.
