Did he cover 'Who knows' on 20Ten?

giggle Yes, but who knew?

I thinkI want to know the track number of this version. Are we sure it is on the promo that was distributed in Europe?
(Yes I want to trade one 20ten promo for the USA release; also I am looking for Roskilde, Berlin, Arras, Werchter, Vienna and Aldeia do Meco tour gig promo posters)
Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

I am very curious about your choice. At this moment I like "Act of God" the most.

i like the bit where he says he's the fan of the mothers. so half way between track four and five then

Cx

a, not the. that comes later

Beginning Endlessly

lately it has also been this jam. it is true futuristic, yet naturally Prince funk.

the chorus lines and also back up vocs take me back to the same on Thunder,

from Diamonds and Pearls. they have such a creepy sound, that also reveal

the influence that Parliament Funkadelic had/has on his own art. this track

reminds us that Prince is in a groove of his own, and deserves to be played

loudly with strong speakers.

Future Soul Song for me. I'm not normally a big fan of the slow songs but this one is great. Really like Walk In The Sand for that matter too.

Not keen on Sticky Like Glue though, it's almost a skipper for me. It's saved by the end where it gets really funky. I need to re burn the cd with Sticky put on as two tracks so I can skip the boring part and get to the funk. biggrin

RIP sad

sticky like glue will stick 2 ya eventually biggrin it's really catchy, and i also wasn't 2 into it after the first few listens. but it has a way of staying in your mind; u will find yourself humming it. it is also 1 of the tracks that made me realise how much Prince has gone retro in 20ten, but also how much he influenced the sound of the 80's.

Doubtful, I've listend to the album quite a lot and it's grating on me more and more. From after the rap is where I'd like it to start, then from about 2:55 where he says, "breakdown", it starts getting good. IMO of course. smile

Lets be honest, Sticky Like Glue is the only song that will truly be remembered from this album. The others are mostly listenable but SLG is by far the best track.

I'm terrible at picking just one... but right now I'd have to say Lay it down (I see folx calling it laydown is that the actual title?) could be act of god could be future soul song. I LOVE LOVE LOVE his deep voice in that one. I actually really like this album. Only song I really don't care for is everybody loves me...sticky like glue...I mean sticky is ok but that little rap part...ehh..I don't like it.
"not a fan" falloff yeah...ok
