Prince jammed together with Herbie Hancock at one of his 3121 house parties, afaik. That's what I've read a few years ago at housequake.com.

*edit* : I just googled this:

Ok there was a jam session at a london gig at the parade tour with sting and ron wood

I think when he dont likes the boys........he would never share the same stage 2gether....

Ok then another clue....

Sting re-recorded Demolition Man 4 the hollywood movie with sylvester stallone at PAISLEY PARK !

When U hear the song U listen 2 soul and funk skills never b4 on any sting record.....and the producer was Stoker.......never heard b4

You probably do eek

Personally, Tom Jenkinson (aka Squarepusher) would be the choice collaboration right now. He is the best bass-player in the world right now and certainly at the cutting edge of electronica production and studio wizardry. Prince would definitely get off on Tom's abilities and, well, I think sparks would fly and creative juices would flow razz

I think Take That is P' s level at the mo...but let's dream......lol lol lol

stop being mean and go dig a potato

Sting.... I'm not too fond of his music in general. It seems a little pretentious, just like the man himself. Ok, some of his Police songs are good and energetic, but his solo work...it can be quality music but it does not touch me on an emotional level. One exception, his Dowland project. Here he really seems to fit in with those English renaissance songs, which he delivers in a very authentic (unpolished) way... but a collab with Prince, uhmm, I can think of better choices.
