Prince jammed together with Herbie Hancock at one of his 3121 house parties, afaik. That's what I've read a few years ago at housequake.com.
*edit* : I just googled this: http://prince.org/msg/13/138606

Sting.... I'm not too fond of his music in general. It seems a little pretentious, just like the man himself. Ok, some of his Police songs are good and energetic, but his solo work...it can be quality music but it does not touch me on an emotional level. One exception, his Dowland project. Here he really seems to fit in with those English renaissance songs, which he delivers in a very authentic (unpolished) way... but a collab with Prince, uhmm, I can think of better choices.
