Could "Reflection" be about Prince's sister? When I listen to Reflection I sometimes get all teary-eyed when I put it in the context of him singing this song to his sister.

Except for the one line where he sings "Thinkin' bout youuuuu, baby"... That is the only line when it makes me think he's singing to some lover.

But then again, going my the song "Sister", his sister could be his lover. But I doubt that.

Honestly, wouldn't that be rather beautiful for this song to be about/for/to his sister? Namely his sister while they were in their teenage years. A nice little ode to that brother/sister relationship.

I always thought it had duel messages, one being he's reflecting on his mother...aint nothing worse than listening to old worn out love song.
