I know Prince has performed this off and on for years, and it seems hard to do a bad version of that song, but...I'd love some opinions/suggestions for these two things:

1. The best SOUNDING live version? There isn't a soundboard of this somewhere is there? I'd love to hear a good aud. recording at least.

2. The best performance of it? Was there ever a live version of this that you think is better than the others, where he's really on fire?

I´ve heard a couple of live renditions during the 1998 New Power Soul tour but I don´t really remember the locations. One version that I´m aware of was at the Cologne concert.

Not very spectacular but I love the song so much that I liked it anyway.

I think he messed up the lyrics a bit....have to listen to the CD again.

i've only heard the one on "exploding all over europe" and i really like it .. and that version of "mad" as well its much better than the studio version .. cool piano riff

There are some boots from the Love 4 One Another shows at Paisley Park in 1995 that have it on there. They are not soundboard quality though.

The two performances that stand out for me are:

1) Performance in 95 on Mayte's birthday - truly amazing version - wish I had it in soundborad quality.

2) performance in Paris, Zenith I think, also 95.

As far as i know there is no soundboard of this track out there - would love to hear it if so.
