Up next "International Lover" vs "Get On The Boat".
I know you were joking, but another good analogy would be "international Lover" vs "Adore". There were plenty of 1999 album fans that hated most all of Sign o' the Times when it came out, and jumped ship at that point saying Prince had just lost all the feeling and good Prince vibe.
I know...its not really fair to compare these two...they are twenty years behind eachother and one is slower than the other...its more sane to compare W.A. to Extraloveable. Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records. |

"Wonderful Ass" by far. "Sticky Like Glue" turns me off with that current Beyonce type lyric delivery style that's a cross between singing and talking the lyrics because too many words are in one verse.....the verses right before "as a matter of fact I can't stop thinking bout you baby". Once again, a great song has no current styles.

But that style is also a 70's funk/disco style of delivery too... I think. |

What you mean? I understand you but the arrangement is unique in it's own. And Prince sings/talks all the time..since Raspberry Beret. Straight Jacket Funk Affair

Get On The Boat! I always thought International Lover was kinda wack to be honest. Do Me Baby was way more effective and memorable. |

Yeah International Lover....meh..the only thing I liked about that song was the last minute or so of the tune....dont think I have ever had the need to play that one. I actually like Free better than International Lov3r Straight Jacket Funk Affair

It was a joke. "Sticky Like Glue" and "Wonderful Ass" are completely different songs, therefore a comparison discussion is out of the question. |

I know u were joking. But I disagree. I don't think the comparison (Sticky and WA) is so far off. One features way less synth. But I think they're kind of going for the same thing though. [Edited 7/28/10 11:08am] |

But not in a Beyonce type way of doing it. Andy is a four letter word. |
