Prince candidate to manage the Nice jazz festival

http://www.nicematin.com/...azz-a-nice

Basically, the Nice Jazz festival is looking 4 a new producing team and Prince and a few french associates are candidates to manage it in the future.

I can hardly see Prince not losing interest in this before or years as he does with every project of his, but if it happens it could mean a few great years with a Celebration kind of event biggrin

Yeah i know, sorry i can't translate it all. Use Google translator maybe?

Anyway i've translated the basic info: Prince and associates are officially candidates (basically the city allows a producing company to manage it and renew the bail every once in a while and they're not satisfied with the current company and the bail ends next year and Prince and associates are officially candidates) ^^

What do suppose the t-shirts will look like? smile

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

The star is seeking to settle in the region and creating a musical event. Pascal Bernardin, his producer, suggested he eyeing the side of Cimiez

While the Nice Jazz Festival is experiencing serious attendance problems and seek a new life, the new venture to make some noise in the Landerneau.
Arrived yesterday in Nice, the producer of Prince Pascal Bernardin, has confirmed that he had proposed to the star, which seeks to settle in the south of France and creating a festival (editions of our 22 / 7 ), to join with him to recover and relaunch "Nice Jazz. "We talked with Prince and Emmanuel Buretel, the boss of the label Because after the concert in Werchter (Belgium) and Prince has agreed to file the return on behalf of said Pascal Bernardin. It was a very emotional time. In the end, we have typed in the hand, saying: "Ok, go! ""

From sacred cards
Prince, the future boss of "Jazz in Nice? The idea does not seem incongruous: "It's a great artist, great musician, he has always loved to discover new talent and is very motivated at the moment to do something in France," explains Pascal Bernardin.
He himself is no stranger to Nice (where there was a time with La Grande Parade du Jazz), nor is anyone in the world of French production.
Apart from those of Prince, Pascal Bernardin produced concerts of Bob Marley at Le Bourget, Supertramp Parc de Sceaux, Bob Dylan, Madonna, Michael Jackson at the Parc des Princes, Police, Telephone, U2 ... A sacred card!
The third musketeer of the association, Emmanuel Buretel, owner of independent label Because society and Rodeo, it distributes and turned artists like Manu Chao, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Mark Knopfler. Suffice to say that their record of recovery of the festival in Nice, it is actually deposited in the rules and deadlines, is not likely to be ignored.

Well, the guy can't manage his own shit. Let's hope he won't TRY TO manage anything else. That'd be the end of that festival.

Thanks for the translation. But are these folks aware that Prince grows bored with a project an hour after starting it?

Well, the guy can't manage his own poop. Let's hope he won't TRY TO manage anything else. That'd be the end of that festival.

AND we mustn't forget that the guy knows as much about jazz as I know about growing dandelions in the tundra.
