He plays these obscure songs that have been RECENTLY mentioned repeatedly on the .org, (Purple Music, Large Room..., etc.) and everybody wants to claim he doesn't check this place out. He is no mind reader, 20ten seems almost like a direct plea to the .org to STOP HATING. He gave most of you what you said you wanted (aside from an ACTUAL release in the U.S. which he knows we all already have anyway, and will gladly pay for it if/when it is released in America) with a retro-progressive sound, Linn drums and all. But no, you all claim (as if you somehow know) that he does not read some of these posts. I don't claim to know shit, but I DO have my suspicions that he is more "connected" than many of you realise. (I like parethesis a lot.) HE PLAYED "PURPLE MUSIC"! Just recently, there was a thread about this song (I had never even heard it, and I have heard most of the earlier outtakes to my knowledge) and a few months later he breaks it out for EUROPE. Fucking American haters. Just My Opinion Which I Am Fully Entitled To.

P.S. It can't be groveling if he never comes here.

"Don't Play Me" could also serve the same purpose.

Don't cry.... cry

you americans are forgetting you had the intenssive & excellent Musicology tour in 2004.

Intensive and excellent Musicology tour? Just a run through of the hits basically, AGAIN!

Fail. He played pretty much everything from the Musicology album and filled in with hits......like virtually every other artist/musician does. Stupid Prince....playing what people want to hear in a stadium tour. Did I mention fail?

(Insert something clever here)

I was thinking the same thing the other day. It seems weird that he tours and then doesn't play all the tracks from the new cd that he's touring for.

I would love to just see him play at paisley park.

[img:$uid]http://l.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/39.gif[/img:$uid] If he does do some sort of U.S. show, I would love for another Paisley Park Show. Personally speaking, I feel Paisley Park should be the 'jump off' show for a U.S. Tour to promote the album. Why not do the same thing he did during the Musicology show: the new album included in the tix price.

Peace ... & Stay Funky ...

Someone on here said that, in the German Rolling Stones Interview, Prince said that he was going to remodel Paisley Park and reopen it to the public.

I'm afraid you fail my friend. I have taken the set list of a longer than normal Musicology show in St. Paul, MN and highlighted the Musicology tracks that were played. Keep in mind there were 12 tracks on the cd. I'm being very generous by using this set list, as most shows didn't even have this many. The only 2 songs from Musicology that were a staple of the show were Musicology and Life O' the Party.

Musicology
Let's Go Crazy
I Would Die 4 U
When Doves Cry
1999 (Intro)
Baby, I'm A Star
Shhh!
D.M.S.R.
Crazy In Love (Snippet)
I Like The Way You Move (Snippet)
Sheila E. Intro
Controversy
A Love Bizarre
God (Love Theme From Purple Rain)
Little Red Corvette
Cream
(Sometimes I Feel Like A) Motherless Child
Jailhouse Rock (Snippet)
Raspberry Beret
Bill Collector's Blues
I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man
Alphabet St.
The Ballad Of Jed Clampett
On The Couch
7
Sign O' The Times
Dear Mr. Man
Whole Lotta Love
Drum Solo
Prince & The Band
Let's Work
Lopsy Lu
U Got The Look
Life O' The Party
Soul Man
Kiss
Take Me With U
The N.P.G. Hornz Coda
The Beautiful Ones
Nothing Compares 2 U
Purple Rain

Did I mention you fail???

That's right, he was 'quoted' that in The Rolling Stone (German Edition), be nice if it actually happened.
