I like the first half of 20TEN and consider the tunes to be good, not great. But it's still WAY too early to tell for me personally how it will ultimately fit in the cannon. Based on your list this is what I can say:

Mplsound - Yes

Planet earth _ HELL YES - 2nd worst album of his career

3121 - HELL YES - 4th worst album of his career

Musicology - Nope - This album has What Do You Want Me To Do, Musicology and Call My Name - 3 songs that far eclipse anything on 20Ten for me

One night alone (the whole era excluding the masterpiece TRC - HELL NO - ONA Piano is his best album since Lovesexy

Rave _ HELL YES - 3rd worst album of his career

Crystal Ball - (Doesn't really count to me as it is a compilation, but the title track and Dream Factory alone make this better)

Newpowersoul - HELL TO THE HELL YES - Worst album of his career

Emancipation - NOPE - There are at least 12 VERY Good songs throughout Emancipation

Come - Tie

Graffiti Bridge - NO - See Emancipation - Good songs poorly produced

Black album - Paul - seriously are you on crack?

Prince - NO - Half of this album is utterly brilliant. Nothing on 20TEN is brilliant

For the first time in my years as a Prince fanatic (since 1979), I do not get the hype over a new Prince album. It just doesnt seem to be as great as the sparkling reviews that start off with sayings like "the best since this album or that album..."

I just havent found a track that I could not stop playing - as I have done with almost every Prince album. On MplSound, I looped Ol Skool Company for a week solid. On LotusFlow3r, it was 4Ever. Planet Earth - Mr Good Night and Lion of Judah. I can go back to albums that even some Prince fans didnt like such as NewPowerSoul - which produced Come On which I still play for a half hour at a time over and over. Lolita and The Dance were the tracks on 3121 for me.

While every track is good, I dont feel that way about any of them. Maybe it will come with time. I will keep listening. I know I like Planet Earth better than I did when I first heard it as it grew on me. SO did NewPOwerSoul (still seriously underrated in my opinion).

Im with u dude i have not stopped playing.

Prince is back 2 his best.

Better than nothing, at least we know he is still alive, this cd is one of his three worst, just my opinion, we all have one. I wont be listening to it again, Id rather stick forks in my ears.

Exactly Prince is just too versatile.

I did not dig 4ever or Lion To Judah...there are some people that thought Planet Earth (the song) was brilliant..while I loved Chelsea Rodgers and Guitar...we have to accept that we all love something different about Prince. I cant believe there are people in here that like the Come album as a whole. I remember not playing that album for almost 6 years.
