What did Prince mean by this? What DID he do that was replaced by scanning his computer?

What did he usually do? Well, only Prince knows that. Could be Work,Could be T.V.,Could be Watching a Video. This just is a Guess of Course. It's an Open Question with Many Answers Orgmind.

I like to believe that he was having a less than inspirational night at the studio when he called it quits for the night and decided to play around with his new computer instead. And it just so happened that whatever he saw or did on his computer inspired him to write this nice little ditty.
