is there any truth to this story? If so its sorta messed up but then again the P version is better and it it haddent been there would be no issue right?

There is no Jesse Johnson version, that was the point of Prince creating the song, because he thought an album with a great title like that should have a title track.

gotcha, thanks for the info

It was a pretty spiteful prank on Jesse, all these guys were living in Prince's shadow, so doing something like that certainly didn't help..... but there is definately an atmosphere of camaraderie there, all these guys came up together and were friends, so it probably looks worse on the outside than in.

Prince is a little bitch though, right.
