When will we know if 20TEN is a success for Prince?

I apologize if it's a stupid question but how do we know if his new album is a hit?

lol

not knocking it-cuz i love the tune-but

if he can put Everybody Loves Me on his album

obviously he don't care what critics/folk say wink

i've seen way more positive stuff about 20ten than negative-in fact its a very positive time-which is strange for us lot.........

the normal ones that knock-i see are lol-still moaning

but for the most-its a cool time-and i can't see how it could fail now its out there

and i have a feeling he has plans for the US

SO ALL GOOD I THINK

I have 5 copies of the album that friends have given me.

A woman I work with said she stuck it on while she was doing her ironing and quite enjoyed it.

Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
woot!

what are the criterias for success?

For us, the fans, I guess.... 20TEN is a success if you own it and like playing it. wink

music

For Prince I guess the success is to reach as many as possible with the music, and of course to make some $$$$$. 20TEN would never reach millions in the UK/Belgium/France/Germany, if sold by a record company.

Have U ever seen the coasters that they make out of the center of old albums?

I have a few of them...

I have...Helen Reddy...Tony Orlando&Dawn...Starland Vocal Band...Captain & Tennille...And Christopher Cross. cool

I Love those.
