On Thursday 2/23/2007 my wife and I went to the Rio to check out the 3121 theater and jazz club. We had tickets for the Saturday night show and planned on doing the aftershow at the jazz club on Friday night. Prince was not performing on this Thursday, there was some latin dance thing going on.

As we lingered outside the theater taking turns peaking inside we were approached by a strange little man. This man was kinda creepy, kinda grubby, and well, crazyish. He was no taller than 5' 2"(my wife is 5' 3") white'ish and was activley talking/bugging people around the arera. He gave us a few dinggy lobby cards for the 3121 show, talked hyperly about seeing Prince here and there and inevidably made us wanna loose him, which we did. He spun off from us and went on to pester some other people.

A few days after sobering up we got to reminiscing about our trip and obviously we started to wonder, "what was with that odd little man outside the 3121?" So the question is, did anyone else who saw the 3121 show encounter a strange little Prince fan at anypoint in the Rio? Or even better, have a picture of, or with him? As I said earlier, this guy was approaching practically everyone. I know this is a strech, and sorry this story was too long.

I went to both the Friday night show and the Saturday night show that weekend and I do not recall seeing the person you are describing. Oh yeah, your dog is very cute.

I totally expected this to end with "and it turned out to be none other than Prince!".
