Bria is a peasant herself. Her only claim to fame or doing anything worthwhile is being with Prince. She has no talent. She's not smart. She can offer nothing except for her looks. Anyone who would convert to JW to "be with Prince" could never be trusted with anything. It reflects more badly on Prince than it does her, but still, she's quite worthless. Prince likes so-called "gorgeous" women who are weak and will listen to whatever he tells them to do.

Bria doesn't even have the looks.

And, hell yes, you are completely right. Prince likes women who believe everything he spews, women he can control and who do not cast a shadow on him. That is, from an outsider point of view, the reason as to why he's with her.

If he talks about his crazy crap, she'll acritically aplaud. Bria seems to be absolutely worthless so she does not cast a shadow on him, making her much more controllable. P looks at her from up to down, as we say in Portugal. BTW, right now, as I write this, he's performing here!

I did respond to defend people who don't adore Bria. And now that I have posted... this thread is on my list. I try to ignore the highlighted threads but I just can't. I have to read it ... and then it is like an argument. My mother always said I could never walk away from an argument... I have to have the last word.

Just started reading this thread, so I am pulling up page 1. This is exactly true and what made me so back when it was released. There are so many vocalists who could have done amazing things with those songs. Those songs are some of the best of the 3CD set IMO. Sade of course and another that comes to mind is Corinne Drewery from "Swing Out Sister". I would love to hear another vocalist take those songs on in concert.

The second very weird thing is that they never look good together. Prince next to the plain Twinz looks petite but fine. Next to Bria he looks more scrawny then Petite, more sallow skinned then light skinned. When I see pics of her alone she looks like a beautiful Amazon like Queen Latifah, when I see her with him she looks like she's taken hormone shots to become a woman and she still has a looong way to go. I know that not all couple look cute together but the fact that these two look so bad together compared to what they look like apart makes it difficult to believe that they really belong together.
