Any word 2010 comming to U.S.A.

Has anyone heard anything about it being sold in in the states? If so where? This is his best work in yrs , would b ashamed if we could'nt get it. And why is everyone comparing it to his older music? Of course the guy has to borrow from himself, how can he not, he's had 33 albums, any one would eventually have to semi reapeat there work, would not b humanly possible not to.

There's a sticky to discuss the distribution.

Short answer: No, there is no US release date yet, but the rumors have been July 20 or 22, possibly the 27th. I believe anything in that time range would be sensible, and worth a $2 bet.

Well, you can order directly from the Daily Mirror for about 7 US Dollars (4.64 pounds). Your Credit Card might also charge a seperate fee on your statement, so don't say you were not warned! I do figure there will be a US release anyway, but figured it would be nice to have the "Original" version anyways.

Well whenever it hits the states, I'm running to the stores and adding this to my collection and I will buy it with a big smile on my face! biggrin

I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

We will. People thought Planet Earth wasn't going to hit the US, but it did. Warner Bros will probably (although no one is sure just yet) distribute it in the US. By the end of the month, I would venture a bet that it will be on store shelves. He'd be stupid not to.

How could he NOT sell it in the US and make the $9.99 from the 347,000 people who want to buy it? falloff

I ordered it...under "town" I put in my city and state. It doesn't ask for your country but later when you go to the payment page there is a drop down menu where u can choose the U.S. Everything looked ok on the confirmation page. Be warned, after you submit your order, it says it can take up to 28 days to be delivered from the UK. We might have it here at home by then. Oh well, I wanted the original too.

^^ That's why I'll never purchase anything online, takes too long for the albums to arrive. I rather get it from where I know they'll purchase it.

DannyD5050 and I were talking about this not too long ago. He liked the hunt of finding a Prince song. Me, I prefer the easy route. lol

I keep forgetting that the "Planet Earth" release happened before we got it. I'm "still waiting". I also do hope we get something special here in the states.

I wouldn't hold my breath. The Daily Mirror and other outlets like Madhouse Music have already begun receiving orders for international shipping. In a perfect world, Mr Nelson would have a fully functioning webstore up, but that's another story.

To quote Morris: "Remember, we tried that!"

If P would just have a simple download store (like CD Baby or Amazon), he would be successful. Instead, he chooses to work with half-ass people and give us a "pretty" site with no content. I preferred the first year of the NPGMC. A very simple layout. With a site like Lotus, u had to click, click, click, click just to find a single song/album.

Prince may have shot himself in the foot between Lostusflowers site and his "dead" internet comment. I have seen more sites posting links like "well since Prince thinks we r dead I guess he won't mind" with links to loads of his stuff. So actually 20ten is out there. I don't condone downloading music for free ....unless I can't buy it. wink
