How else do you make a gif from a Youtube clip?

I've used Gicker before, but more often than not it gives an "inappropriate content" warning and halts the gif making process. http://gickr.com/from_youtube

Gifsoup never cares what the content is, but the website sucks donkey balls since they sold it, so making a gif is hit and miss.

I've made gifs by downloading the Youtube video and exporting all of the images with MPEG Streamclip, then placing the photos I need in Adobe Fireworks. But that's the hard way.
