Using album cover art for my Prince songs is a bit boring for me. So, for each album/year I try to find an era appropriate picture of Prince. No words, no graphics, just the picture. For example:

For Purple Rain, each song has a correlating picture to when the song is played/performed in the movie. Thus, the itunes art for "Darling Nikki" is Prince bathed in red light with one arm up aroud his neck, playing with his hair...a screenshot from film.

I realize this borders on being obsessive compulsive, but it is actually quite fun.

Anyone else have crazy itunes picture/organization when it comes to Prince music?

I'm a total neat/control freak when it comes to my iTunes organization. Each song must be under the right album, under the right artist, with the correct year, and genre. Plus ratings.

I can't leave a song without the correct album art.

But one thing I like to do is take my favourite line/lyric from a song and put it in the comments section, and I made sure the comments is visible on my iTunes.

Example:

Head/4:45/Prince/Dirty Mind/Pop/*****/But I'm just a virgin and I'm on my way to be wed. But you're such a hunk, so full of spunk, I'll give you head.
