You suckas go to these concerts and don't inform a brota that Prince is back on keyboards. He kinda doin that Purple Rain tour vibe again with the piano. You know how I have always complained about his lack of really smoking on piano. Hopefully this is the start of something big on the keys.

wow. big deal. just like almost every other tour. now when he did an acoustic guitar set at the 2002 celebration and the Musicology tour, that was something to take note of.

Never have got to see Prince anywhere else than Mpls. but Almost Every performance I have ever seen.......Prince spends time at almost every instrument.....guitar piano,keys,bass,percussion and vox.Even at Paisley shows he rarely stays with one instument all the way through

But in addition to this live keys biz, we haven't heard such a synth-heavy album since...what? Gold Experience? Rave? I'd almost argue that 20ten has more synths than almost anything before! There are about a million layers in each song, it's very complexly orchestrated...in fact if anything I think it needs to be dialled back a bit. Loses some of the intimacy. Scandalous, Starfish and Coffee, When 2 R in Love...they had nothing to them, a lot of space. I've never really liked Prince layering synth over the guitar licks (FSS 4:09), that's how he ruined endorphinmachine and zannalee.

I'm hoping for a one night alone style piano album next. Or maybe rhodes with bass, drums and 2 horns. That'd be smooth. And one of the horns better be Eric.

A live studio album would be nice. The more minimilistic the better.

especially given the fact he can't move like he used to...

more importnatly he's dancin more than in a long time + did i see him jump! + I am lovin the big eye screen on stage especially as it shows the fans a lot.
