Sorry if this is old news, but the Radio Times website has a list of the guests on Wossy's last BBC show this Friday: David Beckham, Jackie Chan, Mickey Rourke and Roxy Music.

No Prince!

Hmmmm, I phoned the BBC directly on Saturday afternoon and was told that "Prince is scheduled to appear" on the Jonathan Ross Show this Friday. I watched the show the night before and Jonathan Ross definitely didn't mention Prince as being on the last show the following Friday, however, BBC said the very next day that he is scheduled to appear.

Just checked the Hot Sauce website - which is the production company for Friday Night With Jonathan Ross and Prince isn't showing as appearing on the show this Friday. BBC definitely said on Saturday though that he's scheduled to appear. I'll be watching it on Friday anyway as I usually do and if Prince is on it, that's a bonus )

If I'm in I'll watch it, if not I'll freeview record it. Disappointing list of guests like, but maybe the wee man could be on on some kinda live link from Europe. He must've seen an episode by now and decided that being on the same continent is enough!

I agree with mikeyaddict. If our guy has been shown a recording of any previous episode of TWJR then, I think, he'd think twice.

His current belief-system being what it is, can you imagine Prince walking out to an off kilter, mainly out of tune acapella rendition of Purple Rain by Four Poofs and a Piano?

I'm sure Ross would be duly reverent in an interview, but the show is not the kind of thing Prince would look good on.

I heard that Mr. T was going to have his picture on a bottle of Tabasco Sauce, coming out in October or so...Is that true?

The decision was a financial one - Prince wanted too much money for the appearance.
