Definitely one of his worst looks. I don't understand the pale look either. But I liked the way he looked on Letterman during that time. His overall best look was SOTT era imo.

He was very pale and unhealthy skinny at times.

At the gigs he often had a very vacant cold look in his eyes.

In my memory therefore I don't like this 'look' at a whole.

I also remember someone saying. 'He acts like a dick but in his defence he looks like one with this hairdo'.

And when you played N64 for a while other comparisons pop up which doesn't help either.

(in retrospect the old B-side horny toad falls in place)

And on the unhealthy thing, well if he was doing that, doubt it just started then and probably been around for a while. Everyone has their bad days, but its not like they were all unhealthy times.

I've loved Prince's changes over the years...It's just been him inside of a new style.

I adore how Prince looks 2day. The recent pictures are adorably handsome.

I do prefer him being more out there or at least being a bit loose then the more rapped up conservative looks we've seen in the 2000's even though some suits ie Musicology half length coats are cool

I prefer still the Parade-SOTT-Lovesexy looks

1993-1996 probably spans about 3 or 4 different looks or styles by Prince.

The 1993 mushroom hair/fingerwave look was one of my least favorites, but I liked what came afterwards...
