Nah, it's a great song, probably the song I listen to most from this album. During my first listen, I was bored by Walk in Sand and Sea of Everything, and was delightfully happy when Everybody Loves Me came on... finally another fun up tempo track. It lifted up the album that started to sag after those two tracks.

Do NOT love this jam. Strangely, was pretty sure from the title that I wasn't going to. I'm over this tongue in cheek, "hey ain't I great let's be positive and party" style Prince song.

And that's saying a lot considering how horrendous "Purple & Gold" and "Hot Summer" were. This definitely stinks. I can't believe what I heard first listen and it definitely gets worse with each listen. This is definitely the song to skip.

This one confuses me. Well, I can laugh about it. It's ok. Actually, the music is quite cool, but the vocals... oooooooookay.

The vocals definitely stick out like a sore thumb. I almost threw up figuratively on first listen. Definitely skip this!

Stick me in a room with my eyelids peeled open, clockwork orange style, watching a JW-sermon with Purple & Gold playing in the backround.

I'd take that over EVER listening to this song again.

I think the ballads are more embarrassing to listen to with someone else around... Everybody Loves Me is a great track, and I hope Prince makes more of this quirky music.

I admit to listening to this song and having a look on my face the first time I heard it. But the more I listen to it, the more it grows on me. The, "Shake it like you don't know betta...whoopdewhoop" lyric makes me giggle.

Fun dance song! Would be fun live

it's my least favorite track.. but I think MPLSound has worse tracks.

Ugh. It's just AWFUL! And nobody should be allowed to say "shake it like" anything if you aren't named Andre 3000 or Big Boi. The placement on the album is ridiculous, too. It doesn't fit in that spot at all.

you're absolutely spot on! That is so funny, that was also my initial reaction to the song. My 5 year old nephew and I are big Yo Gabba Gabba fans, so when I let my sister (who is also a P fan) listen to Everybody Loves Me, I prefaced it with the description..."it's kinda like a song from Yo Gabba Gabba." Of course my nephew jumps up and says, "I wanna hear the Yo Gabba Gabba song." So I started playing it, and of course he starts singing and dancing immediately. LOL.

Maybe Prince ought to go on "Yo Gabba Gabba" as a guest like he did on the "Muppets". I seen one recently with Eryka Badhu. I think that would actually be very awesome, and Prince would truly fit into that universe. I can see Brobee, Tootee, Plex, Muno, Foofa, and DJ lance all jammin' along with Prince.

I think this is a recycled song he originally intented to include in the Happy Feet soundtrack...

This song blows make no mistake, but in Prince's mind this song works well within a pool of quite frankly amazing new songs. The man works in mysterious ways, but thats why i love him!
