I am having a heated debate on Facebook with an R&B singer about who's better Prince or R. Kelly! Come on Dawg!!!!!!!!!!!! Prince beat R.Kelly to a bloody pulp!!!!!!!!!!!! He can't even touch him! Can someone please tell me how many billboard hits and awards did Prince have and how many R.Smelly has?

yes this is a real question! People hit me with like 40 billboard songs R. Kelly has and I don't know how to find that...I listed like a million songs of Prince that he won awards to and etc but they still don't see it my way.

don't be lazy, use wiki or the org to find the info urself innit. and whilst I love P far much more than R, lets not forget that R Kelly did that musical with a dwarf under the sink...don't believe me, youtube it!

Go for the low road and bring up the fact that Prince doesn't piss on children and videotape it. Also, R has an ugly face.

Then remind them that Prince plays more than just R&B music. R Kelly is one dimentional.

R Kelly (although good at what he does) is "trapped in a closet" when it comes to his music versitility. Plus, compared to great R&B artists of the past (Marvin Gaye, etc.) R Kelly is just a hip hop tinged wannabe who never really innovated anything.

Prince also produces more music and plays his own instruments live and in concert. That is where Prince really separates from R Kelly. You can compare awards*/sales/singles/charts

all day long, but at the end of the day...Prince kills R Kelly in concert. R Kelly is simply not very good live and is , again, very one dimentional.

* This is superficial stuff but, can be used in your argument: Does R Kelly have an oscar? Has he ever had a hit movie? Has he ever made a rock n' roll record? Can he dance? Do the splits? Write a song that's more than mid tempo?

Why are you debating somebody who puts R Kelly in high esteem.

Dont get me wrong..Kelly is very talented (though he puts that talent to silliness and he has serious perosnal issues). But really though. Leave them R Kelly peeps alone as they will never understand or agree with you regarding prince lol.
