That maxi and Gett Off were the best.
Now true or false question. Was there a maxi release of Diamonds and Pearls with an extended mix of D&P?

False. At least there was no official release of an extended D&P. Various cd and vinyl versions had either D&P (lp version) or D&P (edit).

That's not really a maxi single. Two versions of the same song is nothing more than a regular A-Side/B-side single. A maxi is chocked full of remixes, alternate mixes, etc. "New Power Generation" and "Gett Off" are good examples of that. Stuff like "I Wish U Heaven" or the other regular 12" named off here aren't maxi singles. They're just 12" singles. The Maxi single really expanded on the ability to release multiple remixes, etc. D&P never had a maxi single, whereas "Gett Off" did. "The Morning Papers" didn't either.

Yeah, the D&P and Money Don't Matter singles were lame, but i suppose we were spoiled with the Cream and Gett Off maxi's. Mind you, the D&P and money Dont Matter "holographic" cd's are nice to have.

The Japanese Maxi singles really are a treat. The Japanese 'Scandalous Sex Suite' is one of my favorites, the Partyman mixes are good, and the addition of 'Sex' tops it off nicely. I think the thing that would have made it truly great, would have been for it to include the 'Feel U Up (long stroke)' instead of the edit.

I don't know if they are maxi-singles or not, but I really like the Hits Singles. There are a bunch of tracks that didn't make the Hits and they have a nice flow.
