Prince back in Mpls-currently taking in the Bobby Caldwell show ...at the Dakota Jazz Club downtown right now, chilling, back in town from the BET Awards.
Open up Paisley for some rehearsals already!

Love Bobby Caldwell! Prince and I admire the same artists. We have pretty much the same tastes in music and musicians. Well all except Carmen Electra. Although I'm your biggest fan...I'm also your biggest critic. Can you deal with that?

I could have been there! We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

He needs to slap a ® on that thing. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

If memory serves me correctly, Bobby Caldwell wrote the Peter Cetera "classic" 'Stay With Me'. Ugh. Occupy Alphabet Street!

Live in Mpls, work downtown--my friend was there, texting me details, but I couldn't get there.
Prince ordered a vegetarian pasta off the menu, but didn't end up being to his liking, so he sent it back and settled on fresh vegetables and chips and salsa.
He spent some time hanging out on the outside patio, which was suprising to hear, because that can be a busy pedestrian area and no doubt, people would have seen him if they'd looked hard enough.
Waiting to hear what he was wearing, and if he had the cane with him.
I was at the Santana/Steve Winwood show last night, somehow hoping he'd show up and jam with Carlos, but it didn't happen.
FYI, looking at the WIKI page on Bobby Caldwell, he's probably rich, just from royalties from the numerous times that "What You Won't Do for Love" has been sampled.

Prince sure gets around fast, he probably should take a little time out before he leaves for Europe
