AuntBeryl

Never too old.

I'm 63 years young and I love Prince music. I wasn't able to listen to it much when my husband was alive, but now not a day goes by when I don't play one of his cds. I think he's very handsome. Thankyou.

Sometimes, I feel old listening to all you twenty and thirty year olds going on but I have been fan since the early eighties so I am sure I'm not the only one who, like Prince, is not in their thirties!!!

If I still like Prince when I'm in my 60's (GOD willing I'm still with you), I'll carry on going to the concerts, aftershows etc. What does age matter - live for luv and luv your life!!!

My parents are not fans (they like C/W) but my mom appreciates Prince's talent and showmanship - *and* she agrees he has a cute tush. biggrin

Every time I'm at the house and, if I'm watching TV and Prince is on, and she walks through the room, she'll stop for a bit and watch with me and will never fail to make some sort of comment like "He sure is talented!" and remark about how fantastic he is to watch perform.

Also - hello & welcome, Beryl. You DO rock!

Prince and his music are timeless. He will only continue to grow in ways we probably could never imagine.

My granny is 75 and she agrees that Prince does have a very cute tush..lol She is strictly C/W also...her man is George Strait...she just loves him. My mom and my aunt took her to see him and concert and he kissed her hand. She was so excited to tell everyone...lol. I guess it kinda runs in the family, so she understands my Prince addiction...nuts
If U set your mind free, baby, maybe U'd understand...

My dad is 77 and said to me just the other week, "Well, I sure hope you take me to a Prince concert before I DIE. . ." lol I felt really bad at the last ONA here in Detroit because my friend kept saying to me, "Ya know. . .you shoulda brought your dad". My dad's been playing the heck outta the "It Ain't Over" CD. He digs Prince and has been diggin' him as long as I have (1978). He really loves it when Prince plays blues.

That is so sweet about your grandma getting to meet George Strait and his kissing her hand! biggrin I love hearing about when people finally get the chance to meet their favorite artist... I'm glad your grandma was able to meet hers.

My dad's favorite C/W singer is Willie Nelson! But my dad's not the 'concert going' type so I don't think he'll ever see him (or anybody else) in concert anytime soon (or get his hand kissed..lol )

Prince's tush is a magnificent creation that people of ALL ages and musical tastes can appreciate, that's for sure!

Gosh! You have all been so kind to me. Thankyou for making me feel so welcome. It's lovely to hear the stories of the other "more mature" people too.
