This thread is very very important and needed to be created. There are everyday posts demeaning Princes character, saying his works are awful, that he is terrible as a person, as an artitst etc etc. There's one now made by a grown ass adult who should be worrying about his retirement, 401k, raising his kids, making sure his wife, or she making sure her husband is taken care of, mowing the lawn etc. Instead grown men (physical only) are here on the daily commenting on every move the man makes and ready to pounce with their fingers to type out how this one artits is terrible now. Nevermind the dastardly deeds that they do and have done (hell maybe they are anti soical or have some forms of psychopathy that they cant see the things they do?) sooooo...these things such as HE DESERVES A PULITZER while funny or seemingly crazed to day is in essence the same thing that most of yall are doing here E.V.E.R.Y. day lol. Hence this PULITZER is just

Honey, you don't need to be gandhi or mother theresa to win that award. Like my post says above^ Obama won it last year. Judging the way he's handling the response to the Gulf Disaster, The Nobel commitee best be asking for that award back!

Read up on the recipients of the Nobel Peace Prize and compare Prince's non-artistic work (his humanitarian service) with the work of those recipients. Recommending Prince for the Nobel suggests an unfamiliarity with the depth of work performed by past honorees and a skewed perception of what Prince has done in the humanitarian arena.

I don't see him being a reasonable candidate for it. I'd see someone like Bono considered for it before seeing Prince being up for it, just by virtue of Bono's prominence on the world stage as a human rights activist.
