Yes he played amazing guitar even in his early days even on his first album. Maybe Prince become guitar shredder and he don't like guitar solos without fast shredding licks [Edited 6/29/10 13:07pm] | |

I think P's guitar playing is fine just as it is. He doesn't need to change anything.
If I want to hear shredding then I'll listen to Buckethead. | |

I was just listening to 'Peach', and it's pretty sloppy, but in a good way. I'm sure that's the way the guitar in that song was intended to be.
I wish he'd given an example as well, 'cause I just ain't hearing it. | |
