Prince Snippet's Ok Guys What do we think! For me, I love the fact their are no leaks... Unprcedented in recent Prince History...The air of mystery is giving me a tingling, i haven't felt in a while for a P album.
I've been listenig to Teenage Fanclub's Shadows for the past coupe of weeks and it's brilliant. It grows with the band. it's sexy in many ways. So is is Prince. I want the Purple one to create some sexinesss... I do not want any generic soul or funk. I've listened to enough of that over the last 15 years or so......
I just want one tune which reminds me of the greatest pop songwriter of his age! Something like When Dove's Cry, Anna Stesia, Annie Christian, Dolphin, Shy or The Digital Garden... Something Inspired!
I've heard the clips and i'm enthused. Fuck I'm excited.
Long story short: Compassion: Let's Pretend Were Married meet's God fuckin Know's......Could be great, could be disasterous!
Beginning Endlessley: I haven't been excited about a Prince tune from the first bar... Sexy, Lovesexy, slinky keys. This might be great!
Lavaux: A paen to some Swiss hideaway. May end up being an advert for a bank, but from what i've heard it's clever, sexy and Summery (Vineyard's etc)
This review is just what it is. Knee Jerk.
Maybe he'll come true on this one. You never know....!

When he sticks to that falsetto and never abandons the upper registers that it's never as strong as when he's all over the place singing alto to bass in the course of a few seconds. Too much synth makes for a disposable song. We all remember that he plays real instruments very well when he want to. I'll wait for the US release. I imagine I'll still need to keep Dreamer and other LOTUS FLOW3R hits on my ipod shuffle till the 20eleven album.
