With Prince's BET award looming, i thought i would post this list of awards that he has received so far. It is quite an impressive list. If there are any missing please tell.

he's got more than that. in the long corridor at paisley the walls are literally lined with awards and gold discs all the way down. he has awards for best vegan and best webshite and everything. there was even one to say that 11th september 1987 was paisley park day in minneapolis

Yes i understand that. Maybe you can provide a list of silver, gold and platinum disc awards? That was not really the intention of my thread but feel free to do so, it would be interesting.

No Granny wins in the 90s is bullshit. Prince deserved something for his work on Gold Experience, Diamonds and Pearls, and Emancipation

Just for accuracy's sake the 1985 BPI award for Best International Male and the 1985 Brit award for Best International Male are one and the same. Just somewhere in the middle,
Not too good and not too bad.

I'm sure he's won 4 or 5 "best International male" Brit awards and I recall Batman soundtrack also won something at the Brits, too !!

You are correct about Batman winning best soundtrack. But i think this may have been for Danny Elfmans orchestral score. I checked my copy of 'The vault' and there is no mention of Prince winning a Brit for the Batman soundtrack. I am not saying i am definitely correct though. Anyone shed any light on this fact?
