I haven't listened to that song in over two years-kinda just put it away 
I'm listening to it now 
I know some will say it is mediocre, but really the song is timeless. Love it 
Yeah, it kinda inspired me too. But I listened to the original live version from 83 at 1st Ave. Some people think I'm kinda cute

There are so many great versions of PR. I have not listened to the album version in a very long time. One of my favorite versions has to be the 20 minute version on the 'Purple Rain Tour Finale' bootleg. Recorded in Miami Florida, April 7th 1985. Great version.
