I don't post on here much, but I had to share a sweet surprise my son just gave to me, who is back home during a break from college. He started listening to Prince about 6 months ago after I played some of P's classics for him (he doesn't remember when I used to wear it out when he was a little kid LOL). He had been teaching himself electric and acoustic guitar for the past four years. What touched me so much just now is that I listened to an almost perfect electric guitar rendition of "Computer Blue" that he had been practicing for months just to surprise me! I was so touched and amazed at his ability on the guitar after only four years! He really blew me away! (And that's not just "Mom" talking!) Couldn't have received a better present! Any other folks have similar stories? Just had to share--I am so indescribably touched by what he did!

what a beautiful story, thank you for sharing. P does inspire kids, he has certainly inspired mine over the years and yet they are so young [9!].
