Sacrifice.. version of The Ride.

Just dug this out again (i have it on dvd now...ahem).

I think this might be one of the best versions of 'The Ride' that i have heard.

I think it blows other versions into the water.

Quite a cool video, not the best of aftershows, but we are not really spoiled for choice on that one.

Cool.

Apparently there was some an Egyptian theme to the party, and the night was dubbed 'The Dawn.'

There was also an exclusive t-shirt for sale, did you manage to get one?

HAd to wait ages for him to come out and perform but the wait was worth it and if my memory serves me right the video has been editted very much from the show.

Love this version of The Ride, but still prefer the Undertaker version over all.

Don't worry nursev; you are not alone. hug I haven't watched my Aladdin dvd in a good while, but I'm pretty sure the SOV is from an aftershow in London around 1993ish. A friend shared the dvd with me and it looked packed to the gills, but Prince rocked out. I'm envious of the orgers who were there that night. If I'm wrong about the date or location others may feel free to correct me. I'm far from perfect. peace and heart !

You are correct. It was an aftershow after the last official show of the Act II tour. Sep 8, 1993. Bagley's Warehouse, London.

The Aladdin dvd is from a performance on the ONA tour years later nursev.

The Sacrifice Of Victor is a 46 minute 'film' made up of footage from the final aftershow on the Act II

tour in 1993, filmed at Bagley's Warehouse in Kings Cross London.

The film was broadcast by MTV Europe on 22nd January 1994, (the same day he filmed the video for

'The Most Beautiful Girl In The World')

The film was then released as a home video in March 1995. It was made available on VHS and laser Disc.

The film is now out of print, and is (as yet) NOT available on dvd officially.

Good condition, and in some cases brand new copies, of the VHS version can occasionally be found on Amazon and Ebay. I personally have never seen a Laser Disc copy for sale.

VHS was available on NTSC & PAL.
