It's a rule of modern business, you must have a business model or you are doom to fail,

Example Prince has an idea for a CD, unless his business model includes retail marketing, distribution, musicians, studio time, artwork, songs, price concept, promotion etc... it will fail

all of these make up whats call a business model in modern business if you do not have this you will fail = simple

The same concept for concerts, Tickets, Venue, Time, Location, Transport, Engineers, Sound, Lighting, stage show, songs etc...

People on this website really think Prince is stupid, yet they buy his records or spend time downloading them, and spend money going to his concerts, and join a website called Prince.org ...whats wrong with you people.

It's a fact of business, some projects fail.......ask Donald Trump....

I wonder what guitar parts he is ashamed of on his old albums? I'm surprised he is not ashamed of some of the cringe worthy stuff he has done recently. A whammy bar doesn't make you a good guitarist, just sounds like a gimmick and it seems he has lost confidence in being able to play a good lick.

Thanks a million for the translation IstenSzek. This journalist is a much better writer and a lot more familiar with Prince, so he was able to do more with the scraps he was given. Prince also talked a bit more about music, which made it a little more interesting then the Ebony piece. Sounds like they both had a good time anyway.

I can't help thinking that the episode with the japanese lady was a skit Prince made up. Along with all the other activities that took place, he made sure he didn't leave much time for talking.

I'm certain that I'm not alone in that. However, Prince will settle for only making money off of the people that can get to the venue, instead of utilizing the power of the internet for what it does to include and get paid from the other hundreds of thousands of millions...of his fans all around the world.

That's a damn shame but it is what it is because that's the way he wants it to be!

If I had music or any other "product" that I knew was going to be accessed for free I would have to charge up front as well.
