There are great things about the band lineup, one of which is it does not include the names 'Larry' and 'Graham.'

Great bass player but............................

The band lineup who will be accompanying Prince on his european gigs this summer will be,

Cora Dunham - drums.

Josh Dunham - bass.

Morris Hayes - keyboards.

Cassandra O'Neil - keyboards.

Frederic Yonnet - harmonica.

Elisa Dease - vocals.

Liv Warfield - vocals.

Shelby J - vocals.

And of course...........Prince.

This info was posted on Moquake.com today.

What was it that Prince told Ebony about not surrounding himself with yes men?

Seriously, remember when his bands had people with PERSONALITIES?

The band lineup is something we will all get used to, just like any band changes he has ever made.

There is a circulating boot of a performance he played with Josh & Cora as a trio, and believe me, they are more than competent.

I think we can rest easy in the fact that whatever lineup Prince should choose, now or in the future, he will never run the risk of having a below par band.

[Edited 6/22/10 8:39am]

What was the big noise earlier this year where people wre posting stuff about "Prince's new drummer" and keyboardist. Those too young musicians?

This line up is nothing new except 4 the 1 singer and the harmonica player

Well 'Those days' are the reason 99% of people have any interest in Prince now.

Yes, just pretend you don't notice the hypocrisy between the Ebony interview and his actions. Stick your head in the sand and pretend it isn't there.

we could all stick our heads in the sand and pretend Prince isn't a sociopath, and continue to take everything he says seriously,

i'm not too keen on that idea, are you?

this too shall pass

Shelia E. It's on the album 'The Glamourous Life' released in '84.

Are "Sheila" and "Glamorous" really that hard to spell properly?

I wish I had a quarter for every time somebody on this site spells Sheila 'SheLIA'. I'd be rich by now.
