Which other artists perform at aftershows?

Somebody mentioned a D'Angelo aftershow in a recent thread - which other artists perform at aftershows on a regular basis?

I was speaking to one of Paul McCartney's crew members outside the Fleet Center in Boston last April, and I asked if he would be performing at an aftershow - he laughed, and said no-one does that. I just smirked and said, 'well, Prince does'. Of course, Prince didn't make it to Boston last year, so the last laugh was on me.

I forget how lucky we are that Prince plays aftershows (although of 7 shows I've seen around the world, he's never played an aftershow...)

I guess the Rolling Stones have occasionally played aftershows - hence the Stripped album. Who else?

HI,

sometimes Pearl Jam does...or some of their members...
In 96 Eddie Vedder performed the night before their concert in the RAI Amsterdam at the Vera in Groningen (Northern part of Holland), solo...He travelled to Groningen by train coming from Amsterdam...
After informing members of their club they told that he did that frequently at a tour...Great!!!

The Rolling Stones have been known to turn up in small bars from time to time; unannounced and ususally PRIOR to a concert in that city.

while this is sort of different, frank zappa used to play multiple shows in the same city. if ticket sales were good at a particular venue, he'd do a second show late night. in atlanta, in 1975, 1978, 1980, just a few days before the show they announced a second midnight show. usually the setlist would be very different from the early show. not really aftershows per se, but cool none the less.

Bjork?
I guess you have never been to Iceland then. She does allot of stuff like that There . She even DJ's at the clubs there sometimes. I lived there for awhile and she's treated like a local so she can do anything she wants.
