Most, but not all, DVDs have an audio commentary track from either the director, one or more of the actors, or anyone else involved directly with the film.
How will we do this? When the show starts, we'll quickly explain what we just mentioned in the paragraph above. This is how we'll start together.
1) Put your DVD in your player; the DVD will auto play
2) Choose the Main Menu option
3) In the menu, you'll see "The Songs", "Subtitles and Closed Captions", and "Back To Video". Choose "The Songs"
4) When you see the first few tracks listed, choose "Peach"
5) As soon as your screen goes black hit PAUSE; your DVD's timer indicator should be at 00:00.
6) We will count down, "3, 2, 1, GO" On "GO" hit the PLAY button.
Just a reminder: The title page of "Prince - The Hits Collection" is part of the "Peach" track, so don't worry that you're too early or will be out of sync. You're right on cue that way.
For those on the air: please keep your volume turned down so your phone doesn't pick up the audio. You can leave it low enough that you can hear it, but it won't bleed into the broadcast.
When "Sign O The Times" comes up, we will just immediately tell everyone to hit the NEXT or FORWARD button on your remote. That will take us immediately do "Diamonds and Pearls". We will repeat this step when we get to "I Would Die 4 U", skipping directly from "Little Red Corvette" to "Raspberry Beret".
So the track list will be:
"Peach"
"Uptown"
"1999"
"Alphabet St."
*
"Diamonds and Pearls"
"Controversy"
"Dirty Mind"
"I Wanna Be Your Lover"
"Little Red Corvette"
*
"Raspberry Beret"
"Kiss"
"Cream"
"7"
*Incidates the skipping forward
