This is one I bought new when it came out, got into and put it away until a couple weeks ago.

Easily one of his better Maxi Singles especailly with"GET OFF" and "LOVELEFT LOVERIGHT" put in the mix.

The Lubricated Lady and Loveleft, Loveright. The 3 tracks sort of go together, like a trilogy.

Funky little tunes, i like them a lot.

Totally agree about the last 3 tracks. They really are triplets in the brotherhood music. Can't listen to one without the others. I kind of wish "loveleft, loveright" didn't have such a "demo" like sound to it. It's almost anthemic the way the chorus goes - I wish it had a more complete sound to it, some rousing more lush background vocals (just more voices a la The Steeles and the band). It's almost a gospel-tinged number in a way.

I rarely, if ever, listen to the Tony and TC Ellis tracks.

I mixed the album, and Pt II versions from the GB soundtrack into one big song. Works quite well.

New Power Generation is one of my all-time favorite Prince songs ever. I was (and still am) incredibly disappointed by the remix of the song, but everything else on there is wonderful. Get Off and Loveleft, Loveright are so good.

The Japanese CD single that has all the remixes of Thieves in the Temple, plus the NPG set, is great.
