When Prince is big on an artist, he will usually let you know about it in interviews or by playing live with them . D'angelo, Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefanni, Beyonce, Joni , Santana , etc Otherwise, I think he takes the old school approach. Meaning , 'If you ain't got nothin' nice to say . . .'
