No it says that despite some of his songs not being played on the radio. Prince is still topping this list anyway. So that just goes to show U how great people still think Prince still is. Can't U let Prince top one list for a change? MJ tops most others. Its time now that the entertainment industry is starting to pay homage to Prince. MJ was great at what he did may he R.I.P..

Wow I had no idea that Aretha Franklin was known as a master musician? She plays a little piano and has written some great songs but do you really think she is a better musician than Prince or Stevie Wonder? Or maybe you do not know what musicians actually do. Anyway you might be the only person who thinks P has not attained "Classic" status.

Laura, Aretha is known as being a serious pianist. I'm surprised you don't know this. I wish I played her degree of "a little piano."

So...as a musician...I feel I need to answer this squabble about MJ being a musician. A musician is simply one who creates music. Thus, a singer is a musician. A composer is CERTAINLY a musician. And of course, instrumentalists are musicians. You most certainly do not have to be an instrumentalist to be a musician.
