The new Prince single "Hot Summer" was played on French radio RTL this afternoon. They also said that was the first single to be released from Prince's next album in September 2010, followed by a series of concerts.

Umm, not so excited, really. I mean, it'll be cool to check out a new album. And it would be great if he actually TOURED the states again. It has been six years already. But I still have no love for this song. His performance just seemed bored and uninterested. However, I actually really liked Cause & Affect and would love to see that one performed live. This is all totally a rumor until it's official, though. Since we haven't heard anything about a distribution deal or one-off contract, seems a little suspect.
