Erick Morillo wants to collaborate with Prince.

The US DJ and producer, who will headline London's SW4 dance festival on August 28, would "love" to pen a track for the Purple Rain star.

"I'm trying to get Prince on my album - he's someone I really would love to work with because he's such a committed artist and a genius," he said.

Erick, who will also be playing a residency at Ibiza hotspot Pacha with P Diddy, added: "I'd love to write something with him - if he can come with his guitarist and his voice, then I could do something and put music to it. I think we could jam if we go into the studio."

The Colombian-American musician has been trying to bring his dream collaboration to fruition.

"We reached out but it just keeps getting passed on to other people. I think it'll happen in the end," he said.
