I was wondering is it just me or does anyone else have to check into Prince/PC rehab from time to time in order to satisfy they're mate. I mean she dosen't do it often but I get at times "your always on the computer doing Prince related things & you have no time for me once you get in from work".

My wife is cool with it because she knows I'm more dedicated to the Lord and her than to Prince

Not jealous, just annoyed that after all these years, it is still a Prince cd in the car or home stero.

I married a hardcore fan so it's been no problem for the 10yrs we're been together.

I don't really have a "mate" in the sense of the word. But we're close and yeah, sometimes I think he does. Jealous of Prince and Michael Jackson (mostly Michael) ..even though he claims he never gets jealous. Maybe a little insecure, but it passes everytime I tell him I love him. We're both fans, he's understanding, and I love him to bits.

Talk about a match made in heaven, 2 sweet!

I would say annoyed more than anything which is too bad but I also understand.

My ex-bf was jealous of my liking Prince to the point where he'd try to be like him in some ways physically, while putting him down at the same time.

I'm absolutely nuts about Prince, although given the credit I manage to contain it... let's just say I dn't publicise my obssession, except admit I'm a huge fan and when any news strikes of Prince, you have me ff the chain and all excited etc etc...

My Gf is an absolute gem when qutes are thrown out in tongue and cheek like "I think I'm gay for prince, so you better make tracks....."

well, at first she was... then took her to a concert (paris 2009) and now she's just like me *morris day laugh* . I'm 21 , she's 18

My ex actually was so jealous he wouldn't let me use the phone to purchase my concert tickets once. Then I dated this guy that ripped the head off my life size Prince stand up from Diamonds and Pearls.

My hubby sometimes says stupidness like "you love that guy more then me" but he knows that's false and he would NEVER allow me to miss a Prince concert!

I'm a little bit wary of it irritating her!

Devotion is best saved for one's mate. Seeing as Prince is not my mate, jealousy has never been an issue. I love Prince's music, but I prefer to live in real time balance with a real man that can love me back. I don't over-appropriate my time and energy to people that don't even know my name.

If your devotion to Prince is something that your mate could or should be jealous of, then you've got some serious mental issues. Or they do. Good grief.

She's fine with it, but it annoys her when i leave cd's in the car.."not that squeaker again, get it off" lol....she loves him really..

He shouldn't and he doesn't, he's secure

My other half loves his music, but's not really keen on him. Still ugly, but better looking than he used to be, i think that's how she last described him. She's not overly keen on his behaviour either, she thinks he's an asshole.

She might as well be a fan.

my husband isn't jealous at all. he's not a prince fan in any way, we like different kinds of music, and that's okay.

Glad you find humor in it! I do now but was so upset at the time LOL I also had some picture discs ( i think that's what they are called) hanging on my wall and he broke them in 1/2. I loved those and won't ever get over that......

I don't have a mate, so I have never run into that problem. Makes things a heck of a lot easier.

He use to, but I nipped that in the bud
