isnt it time Prince mended his bridges with WB...and did a time-life style deal...

a dvd/cd every fortnight with notes from the man himself...explaining his head space and why he now chooses to ignore/change some of said early work.

give the fans what they want...re-mastered..cds...

and release the videos...

its out there anyway, whether he likes it or not..

he could always donate proceeds to his faith

Warner Bros. Records is no longer owned by AOL/Time/Warner. so if he's going to mend fences with WB (records) he might as well just do a regular remaster series directly with them. or Rhino, if that makes him feel better about it.

It seems to me he has tried a lot of other things..traditional label releases/internet/dept store/newspapers etc..

TV could be something new.

Or, why not periodical (magazine) releases...fortnightly mag with dvd/cd.

now that would be worth going to work a least once a fortnight for...Prince selling day

if we include outtakes/b-sides/boots he has a lot of material to get thru...that would be alot of fortnights

Being a fan sinds 1980 (30 years this year, yes!) it seems I always want more. Another 4 weeks to go til Werchter!

Exactly. It would basically communicate he's a has-been and irrelevant.. besides, there are other ways of getting a deal done without lowering himself to infomercials.
