Hello people.

I work for the BBC and I called one of the Production Co-ordinators this morning, to find out about tickets.

I was told the team had a production meeting this morning in which they were told Prince will definitely not be making an appearance.

The PC said there had been some talks and the team was excited, but as of this morning, Prince is not scheduled to appear.

I hope things change, but that's what I was told today.

x

Prince probably watched an episode... well, at least 30 seconds of an episode. lol

AND I GOTTA ALOTTA BUTTA 2 GO!

That's the second time this has been mentioned. What happened with Ross Noble? (I'd been watching True Blood season 2 over the last few months and not Friday Night with JR)
Just somewhere in the middle,
Not too good and not too bad.

In all seriousness: who can confirm the non-appearance?

I mean: how reliable is the info? (with all due respect)

can you really imagine prince on the j ross show? with all the innuendo and bad language? he might have been interested until he found out more about the show

they didn't confirm officially that he was going to appear, so strictly speaking you can't cancel what wasn't confirmed

How about a link to this story from the BBC?

Not some newspaper trying to sell copies.

Aye, because trying to sell your work is so wrong. What a completely ridiculous thing to say.

Ridiculous you say?

So where is the link?

It's ridiculous that you are being sucked into this rumour without anything from the BBC.

Why don't you read the thread, and follow the links given ?

Play the audio file lol , ross thinks he's coming on the show, as for the person who works at the bbc the programme has production staff who have already booked Prince for TFI friday show in 2000 when he did Prettyman on C4 in the UK ...cool

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/celebritynews/3278635/Jonathan-Ross-apologises-for-prank-calls-to-Andrew-Sachs.html

Ross and Brand left a series of obscene messages on the answering machine when they could not reach Mr Sachs, 78, for a pre-arranged phone interview. Each message, aired on October 18 after senior producers authorised the programme for broadcast, contained lewd jibes about how Brand he had slept with Ms Bailie. Further transcripts of the programme have emerged in which Ross and Brand joke about breaking into Mr Sachs' house and performing a sex act on him by way of apology.

I remember one time when he had Ditta Von Teese on the show and he showed her the footage of when he had a camera up his bum.

She was mortified lol.

Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

JR did alright with Madonna, he did dig deep but he knew when to back off and shes been on it a a couple of times. He will be fine with Prince.

That epsidoe where he had Madonna take over the show was probably the most boring piece of TV ever.

I thought it was alright, most of her interviews she comes over as pretty laid back and normal. At least shes not sitting there talking mumbo jumbo about chemtrails.

I have it on pretty good authority that Prince pulling out of the show is due to him wanting too much money for the appearance.

The source for this is direct from someone who works on the show (and not someone who makes the tea).

smh.

So many legendary artists have been on there, his peers like Stevie and James, Ross tempers his behaviour to the person he has on, i'm sure he'd be respectful of Prince if he went on.

Instead soccer ace Becks will give Wossy a send off on the last Friday Night With Jonathan Ross on July 16.

The host has also lined up actor Jackie Chan and singers Prince and Tom Jones.

Cult actor Mickey Rourke - one of Wossy's favourite guests - is also set to appear on the show.
