New Prince documentary on BBC Radio 6. I think there is one episode each day this week to celebrate his birthday. Just listened to the first one on iPlayer, not bad. Goes from the start of his career to PR.

Spot the mistake concerning Wendy. Bit bad seeing as i think it comes from a certain well known music critic. Tsk, Tsk.

I listened to it, but it wasn't familiar to me, even though I know I've heard Mica Paris doing a BBC Prince documentary before, so I guess it's the same one?

Any way, it was pretty good, a couple of minor date/name niggles aside, they played stuff you wouldn't really expect like DMSR and Lady Cab Driver.

Look forward to the other part(s).

i remeber a documentary called Purple Reign on Radio 2 about 5 years ago, it could be that. it was spread over 2 weeks about an hour each.
