I watched this last night and it made me very happy. Prince seemed very normal, and down to earth, esp. amidst the chaos that is Muppets.

i really liked the Starfish and Coffee jam it was cute

I've always liked that version of Starfish & Coffee. Almost more than the orginal if it was longer. Interesting choice of songs with She Gave Her Angels in the closing number, very somber for a format like the muppets. The outtakes at the end were funny too.

I don't know if you're looking for the scenes mentioned above here or not, but the beginning of the show is available on YT (just search for "Prince on muppet show"). It's only about a minute long, but already funny !

Some people don't like the appearance, but I do It was a time in his life where he was expecting to be a father and he was happy I love to see him getting off the elevator and the muppets are standing there like It's too cute

When I first saw a pic of him in overalls and a straw hat, it looked like a professional press release photo of some kind. I guess he posed for a few while he had the outfit on for the show.

Do you mean the one in the cornstalks with Gonzo? If so, I'm sure that's a Muppet Show pic. Also the Disney logo in the bottom left corner--I don't think Disney would show Hee Haw. Or do you mean the pic where P is wearing overalls and a cowboy hat?

Yeah, the pic of him in the outfit with the white background. I found it long before I saw the muppets tonight episode, and had a hard time getting my head around why in the hell he would wear that oufit. lol

Ahh, I see now. I took it literally as he appeared on the show "Hee Haw." To that, I was like "no f'in' way--I gotta find that clip!"

at about 17.21 in Prince walls throug some doors about to meet the dummy, and he is humming a song. Is it "4 ever in my life"?

in that same part they are talking about using 5000 purple rats making a on the 50 yard line, just like when he played the super bowl.

I LOVE this show... but I always thought that part about the rats on the 50 yard line was SO ironic... and wondered if anyone else paid attention to that part... I'm so glad I wasn't the only one who heard that

Yeah, it was definitely long before the super Bowl. But still a funny prediction. I would love to see the complete outtake shown during the credits of P and the Sinatra-like puppet.

I'm a hardcore muppets fan, and I even called ABC headquarters in NYC to complain when it got cancelled, and Disney Channel later on. Bastards. lol
