Pointer Sisters & Prince

Is there any deeper connection between the two....

Pointer Sisters covered I feel 4 u...

And they have two songs with the same titles... "Automatic" and "Dance Electric"

Their only Motown release, "Right Rhythm" (1990) had tracks recorded at Paisley Park (engineered by Dave Friedlander), produced by Levi Seacer Jr, and with Eric Leeds credited as playing horn on one track.

First time I heard " Erotic city" it was played through the speakers before a Pointer Sisters gig in 1983 in Paris.
